Facilities & Equipment
- Imaging: CT, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, and high-quality ultrasound units (including cardiac and abdominal capabilities)
- Endoscopy suite: Flexible and rigid endoscopy, bronchoscopy, cystoscopy, and arthroscopy
- Critical Care: Dedicated ICU and a 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care service staffed by experienced ECC veterinarians and nurses
- Accreditation: The only VECCS-registered hospital in Australia, meeting international standards for emergency and critical care

- Dr. Merrin, Emergency & Critical Care Specialist. Her special interests include Emergency soft-tissue surgery, Mechanical Ventilation, communication, leadership theory, and mentoring.
- Dr. Christine, Head of Department Emergency & Critical Care Specialist. Her special interests include complex trauma management, sepsis, transfusion medicine, respiratory physiology and emergencies, including mechanical ventilation
- Dr. Alasdair, Small Animal Surgery Specialist. His special interests include cranial cruciate ligament rupture (TPLO), lameness cases, complex fractures, and hip replacements and micro/nano hip replacements.

About the Role
As a Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist, you will diagnose and manage challenging internal medicine cases, from complex endocrine and gastrointestinal conditions to advanced respiratory care. As well as collaborating with a multidisciplinary specialist team and ECC veterinarians and experienced veterinary nurses. This role is best suited for a recently boarded or experienced candidate, offering the opportunity to contribute to teaching and mentorship while enjoying flexible work arrangements and the lifestyle benefits of living in Australia.

Requirements
- A board-certified diplomate of the ACVIM or ECVIM-CA or fellowship of the ANZCVS in Small Animal Medicine. Residency trained candidates also considered.
- Recognised and/or accredited undergraduate degree by the Australasian Veterinary. Boards Council (AVBC). Limited registration candidates also considered.
- If required, passing the National Veterinary Examination (NVE).
