About the Role

At our modern, purpose-built facility in Ngāruawāhia, we’re looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Veterinarian who thrives in the operating theatre and is keen to grow their expertise through CPD and special interest development.
You’ll be providing top-tier clinical care to companion animals, working across a diverse caseload as well as routine and complex surgeries. Your role will also involve participating in companion animal working groups across the business to facilitate continuous improvements and enhance clinic efficiency, ultimately boosting throughput and revenue. Along with the opportunity to support our younger vets to grow both their clinical and surgical experience.

What You’ll Bring and Who You Are
- NZ recognised Vet Degree and a current practicing certificate
- Proficiency in performing small animal surgeries with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Veterinary surgeon
- A compassionate and understanding person who can support both the animal and the owner
- A person who can clearly communicate with clients about their pet’s health, treatment options and cost
- A collaborative team player who understands that teamwork is essential to a thriving practice
