About the Internship
You’ll work closely with our two Medical Oncologists and a dedicated Oncology Surgical Specialist, supported by our highly skilled nursing team, while also collaborating with other professional services across the hospital. This is a hands-on role where you’ll:

  • Assist in consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, patient care and client communication
  • Participate in daily hospital rounds and weekly journal clubs/case presentations
  • Be encouraged to complete a published work during your internship
  • If eligible, work towards ANZCVS Small Animal Medicine Membership

What We’re Looking For
 You are a motivated, professional and enthusiastic veterinarian who:

  • Is eligible for QLD veterinary registration
  • Holds a current radiation licence
  • Brings strong communication skills, a solid medical knowledge base, and a great work ethic
  • Has clinical experience (desirable but not essential)

 

Internship Details

  • Start date: January 2026
  • Duration: 12 months (option to extend to 18 months)
