Senior Emergency Veterinarian

Permanent Part-Time | Approx. 33 hrs/week

Melbourne Animal Specialist Hospital (MASH) is seeking a Senior Emergency Veterinarian to join our experienced and collaborative ECC team. Privately owned and recently established, MASH fosters supportive and positive culture, excellent standards of care, and strong focus on teaching and professional growth.

Our hospital is home to ECC Specialists, as well as specialists in Surgery, Anaesthesia, and Diagnostic Imaging. We are equipped with everything needed to practice at the highest level, including:

  • Radiometer blood gas analysis
  • GE Carescape ventilator
  • Advanced monitoring and surgical equipment
  • All the expected diagnostic tools including digital radiology, ultrasound, CT and flexible endoscopy
  • Fully integrated Vetradar + Ezyvet workflow
  • Cubex, IDEXX in-house laboratory and radiology integration
  • Established on-boarding program

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of ECC experience
  • Confidence working independently
  • A passion for supporting and guiding junior vets
  • MANZCVS or Graduate Certificate qualifications (highly regarded)
  • Veterinary degree registerable in Australia
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work within a multidisciplinary team
