The Internal Medicine Internship
The SASH Adelaide team has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Internal Medicine Intern to join the team. The successful applicant will be supporting our Internal Medicine Specialists, Registrar and Resident, to ensure patients and clients access the best veterinary care possible. This position is a structured learning opportunity allowing access to a varied case load over a 12-month period. We are proud to say many SASH Interns go on to specialist training opportunities including Residencies at SASH or positions at internationally acclaimed universities.
About You
We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic vet with a thirst to learn and expand their Internal Medicine knowledge in a multi-specialty hospital. To be considered for a position, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Value a hospital culture of inclusivity, empathy and teamwork.
- A minimum of 18 months post qualification experience
- Current registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board (VSB) of SA or a degree that is registerable with VSB SA.
- Completion of rotating internship is highly desirable but not essential.
- Intention to enrol in or to have obtained MANZCVS in Small Animal Internal Medicine (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
